Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on January 14, 2026, shows that in 2025, both the production and sales of automobiles in China exceeded 34 million units, setting a new record high. The production and sales of new energy vehicles both exceeded 16 million units, and the domestic new vehicle sales share of new energy vehicles exceeded 50%.
